Liverpool beat Cardiff City on Sunday in Wales by 0-2, courtesy of a volley hammered in by Georginio Wijnaldum and a coolly executed penalty by James Milner.
The penalty was given for a foul by Sean Morrison on Mohamed Salah as the Cardiff defender, who also happened to miss the home side’s best chance of the game, grappled Salah from behind with both arms.
Nonetheless, the Cardiff manager was furious with the decision after the game, and he accused the Liverpool forward of diving, comparing him with Olympic diver Tom Daley.
“I don’t think he could have got much higher off the diving board” 👀
