Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is likely to sign a new deal with the club, according to Football Insider. Guardiola is out of contract at City at the end of the season. The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has recently rebuffing interest from the England national football team.
Guardiola has been on the books of City since 2016. The 53-year-old has been a huge success as the Citizens’ manager. Guardiola has won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, the EFL Cup on four occasions, and the UEFA Champions League once.
City are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from seven matches. The Citizens are level on points with Arsenal, who are third, and are a point behind leaders Liverpool. The defending Premier League champions will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the league on Sunday.
