Pepe could be set to make a move to Chelsea if he doesn’t resolve his Real Madrid contract negotiations, according to the Mirror.
The Portugal international’s current deal expires at the end of this season and can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club on January 1st.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea could me ready to pounce for the centre-back who is still considered one of the best in Europe despite turning thirty-three back in February.
He is currently in his tenth season at the Bernabeu having signed from Porto in the summer of 2007 and has since racked up three hundred and twenty-one appearances in all competitions, scoring fourteen goals.
He has won two La Liga titles, two Spanish Cups and has two winners medals in the Champions League while he also helped Portugal to glory in the European Championships in France this summer.
