Pereira set for Valencia stay

Andreas Pereira has said that he would prefer to see out his loan with Valencia rather than make an early return to Manchester United, according to the Metro.

Despite Jose Mourinho’s wishes for him to remain at Old Trafford to fight for his place, the Brazilian switched to the La Liga outfit, for whom he has made ten appearances and scored one goal.

He spent the entirety of last season on loan with fellow Spanish side Granada, turning out for them thirty-seven times in all competitions and scoring five goals.

Prior to his escapades in Spain, Pereira played thirteen times for his parent club, with his one and only goal for them thus far coming in a 3-0 League Cup third round win over Ipswich Town in September 2015.

He is yet to make his senior debut for Brazil but has represented that at youth levels from U15 to U23.
