“I have always said that [playing in the Premier League] is my dream. In football everything is possible, we will see in the future. Now, I’m focusing on Inter”.
Those are the words of Ivan Perisic, as the 29 year old Croat continues to toy with the idea of a move away from the San Siro. While Inter Milan have certainly had a successful few years, with Perisic being at the forefront of that, he has been linked with several high profile English clubs in recent times with Manchester United being the most notable example.
For those who haven’t blocked it out of their memory, you’ll remember that Perisic scored a crucial goal in Croatia’s 2-1 semi final triumph over England which wound up booking their place in the final. Perisic played a key role in Croatia’s entire campaign, and is considered to be one of the most diverse players in all of Europe.
