According to a recent report from Bild, Bayern Munich are planning on allowing Ivan Perisic to head back to Inter Milan at the end of the season as opposed to trying to sign him on a permanent basis.
While he has proved to be a decent asset for Bayern, it doesn’t appear as if he’s done enough to warrant the German giants paying the big bucks in order to bring him in on a permanent deal.
The question will now be whether or not Inter Milan are willing to make room in their starting XI for Perisic, or whether they’ll look to send him straight back out on loan – or perhaps sell him altogether.
The latter seems a little bit drastic but it all comes down to the value that they see in Perisic. He’s good, but he may not necessarily be at the sort of elite level anymore that is required.
