Market: Perth Glory win

Odds: 11/8 @ Bet 365

With the chance to extend their advantage at the top of the A-League to double digits, Perth Glory will travel to Coopers Stadium on Friday morning.

Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of a 2-0 loss against Sydney last week, Adelaide United have continued on a season that can be best described as inconsistent. Now enduring a four-match winless run over the past month, Marco Kurz will also need his side to improve on their recent form in the final third. The Reds have gone over 200 minutes without finding the net and also slumped to arguably their worst performance of the season in their 3-1 loss at home to a struggling Western Sydney Wanderers earlier in the month.

As for the visitors, while Adelaide might be enduring arguably their toughest spell of the season, the same can not be said for Perth. With the chance to extend their buffer at the top of the table to a very commanding 11 points, Tony Popovic has seen his side remarkably lose just one contest this whole campaign. Now holding the best-attacking record in Australia’s top-tier, the Glory will be looking for leading goalscorer Andy Keough to continue his very bright campaign. The 32-year-old has now bagged four goals in his last five A-League outings. Given the recent gulf in class between the two sides, we’re backing another enjoyable morning for Perth.
