Perth Glory’s season quickly went from successful to utterly disappointing as the team were banned from taking part in the play-offs for breaching the salary cap, with 3-0 home loss to Sydney FC following just hours later.
As a result, Kenny Lowe’s charges will have nothing to play for in the remaining two matches and that is something in-form Melbourne City will be looking to exploit as they hope to improve their position ahead of the play-offs.
City have been quite impressive of late, taking 11 points from last five matches and despite missing the likes of Kennedy, Baharudin, Melling and Jaliens, they look a good bet at 7/4 to defeat Perth Glory on the road.
