Viktoria Plzen midfielder Petr Jiracek has agreed personal terms with Wolfsburg, it was revealed.
The 25-year-old, who impressed for Czech Republic in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, is set to join Wofsburg after passing a medical in Germany.
“I can confirm that Petr today successfully underwent a medical,” Jiracek’s agent Dalibor Lacina told the CTK news agency.
“Petr has already decided to accept Wolfsburg’s offer but the transfer is not yet finalised. The clubs have to find an agreement.”
The highly rated midfielder helped Viktoria Plzen win domestic league title last term, while he played a key role in Czech Republic’s successful Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
