Phil Foden seals hat-trick in style as Manchester City thrash Aston Villa (Video)

Having had their Rodri opener cancelled out by Jhon Duran in their clash with Aston Villa in mid-week, Manchester City went on to win the game rather comfortably as Phil Foden stepped up to score a hat-trick of excellent goals.

The last goal, in the 69th minute, was a particularly fine strike, as the 23-year-old winger won the ball himself and fired it fiercely into the top corner from outside the box.

Foden’s vast potential was never in doubt, but this season he’s truly established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League, and should City win the title again, his role in it will surely be a major factor.
