Things are nicely heating up at San Siro right now. After numerous talks of potential deals happening both in and out of the club, the latest story from Corriere Dello Sport is an even more interesting one. The Italian media outlet believe that Krzysztof Piatek may be forced to leave AC Milan in January transfer window if Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to the club.
The Polish striker has struggled to make an impact at San Siro this season. He has scored just four goals in Serie A since the start of the campaign, featuring in 15 matches. That is not good enough for the striker paid around 35 million euros and if Ibrahimovic returns to Milan, then Piatek might have to make move elsewhere.
Milan may cut their losses on him in that situation, with the Swede on the lookout for his next club after leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the Major League Soccer season.
