(GSM) – Steven Pienaar insists he’s planning to stay at Everton despite rumours he’s been targeted by Bayern München and Manchester City.

Pienaar has been linked with a move to Bayern for several weeks now. It’s reported that he’s lined up to replace Franck Ribery should he fail to sign a new contract.

However, the South African midfielder insists he has no intention of leaving Goodison Park and that he’s ready to pledge his long-term future to the Toffees.

“The fans have always been good to me,” Pienaar said. “I always give 100 per cent and feel this is my home.

“I definitely aim to play here for a lot longer, why not? Talk of moving is just rumours and I am really enjoying my football here.”
