Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to leave Marseille for Al Qadsiah in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Aubameyang is will join Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League on a two-year contract.
Romano wrote on X: “Pierre Emerick Aubameyang says goodbye to OM fans as he’s leaving the club, as expected.
“Auba will join Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah on two year contract, he’ll play alongside Nacho next season. Here we go, confirmed.
Aubameyang joined Marseille in the summer of 2023 after leaving Chelsea at the end of last season. The 35-year-old Gabon international striker made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season. He scored 17 goals and gave eight assists in those games. The former Arsenal striker scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 11 starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for Marseille last season.
