Tottenham Hotspur duo Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Eric Dier do not want to join Jose Mourinho at AS Roma, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Mourinho wants midfielder Hojbjerg and central defender Dier at his new club Roma, but the two players do not want to move to the Serie A club.
Mourinho was sacked as the Tottenham manager last month, just days before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. However, the Portuguese has already been appointed as the next manager of Roma and will charge of the Italian club when the season ends.
Hojbjerg joined Tottenham from Southampton last summer and has established himself as a big player in the team. Dier, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, was a regular at the back under Mourinho and is a key figure at the club.
