Pique delighted with ‘dream season’

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has hailed their historic treble winning season as a ‘dream’.

Pique joined Barca from Manchester United, who they managed to beat 2-0 in the Champions League final last night, last year.

The defender told Sky Sports: “It was special because we played really well and we deserved to win.

“Barcelona have always been my club since I was a young lad so that makes it special.

“I am sorry for Manchester United because they are very good friends of mine.

“Since I have arrived here, I knew it was the right decision. I knew they were a great team. It has been a dream season.”
