AC Milan’s midfielder Andrea Pirlo may be out for up to two months after suffering a thigh injury earlier this week.
The Italian injured his thigh in training on Tuesday and missed yesterday’s UEFA Cup game. On Friday, tests pointed out that the injury is worse than feared.
Milan’s medical staff assumed that Pirlo would be back on the pitch within a month.
The ‘Rossoneri’ face Lazio Roma next Sunday, in an attempt to make an end to a series of negative results. Ancelotti’s men will certainly receive a boost from the return of Gennaro Gattuso, who recovered from a broken wrist.
