Midfielder Andrea Pirlo admits the pressure is now on Juventus after they leapfrogged title rivals AC Milan in the Serie A standings at the weekend.
Antonio Conte’s side recorded a 2-0 away win over Palermo on Saturday, while Milan were beaten 2-1 by Fiorentina, and Pirlo said Juve now have everything in their own hands.
“We know that everything now depends on us. Winning all seven of our remaining fixtures would put us out of sight,” Pirlo told Sky Italia.
“As it stands, we have a 50 per cent chance of winning the Scudetto. I don’t think Milan are in crisis.
“They were affected by tiredness from the Champions League on Saturday. But, I reiterate, now it’s all down to us.
“It’s been a while since we were top. Yet we’ve always been aware that we can do well and stay in touch with first place.”
Juventus resume Serie A action on Wednesday when they lock horns with Lazio.
