A resurgent Dutch side rose from the ashes to stun the Euro 16 winners thanks to goals from Memphis Depay, Ryan Babel and Virgil van Dijk for a proper football surprise.
Despite the defeat, Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo was in the spotlight with the fans who even invaded the pitch to get close to their idol.
One of the invaders seized the moment when security guards were focused on another supporter to even slap Ronaldo with a kiss on the cheek.
The Portuguese superstar was not impressed.
