Claudio Pizarro is full of ambition ahead of the new season, saying he wants to win every competition Bayern Munich participate in.
The 33-year-old won three Bundesliga titles and the same number of DFB Pokal crowns during his first spell with the Bavarians between 2001 and 2007.
He is determined to add more silverware to his trophy cabinet this time around, especially after Bayern finished second in three competitions last season.
“I want to win everything this season. Everything there is. That’s the target,” Pizarro told the club’s website.
The Peruvian faces stiff competition from Mario Gomez for a starting berth, but Pizarro does not fear the Germany international.
“Competition is totally normal, you get it at every club. We had five strikers when I joined Bayern for the first time, so it was even more difficult,” he said.
Pizarro has scored 160 Bundesliga goals in 333 appearances.
