Werder Bremen striker Claudio Pizarro says he has not made a decision about his future amid reported interest from Bayern Munich.
Pizarro, 33, is rumoured to be in negotiation with former club Bayern after apparently failing to agree a contract extension at Bremen.
With Croatian forward Ivica Olic to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, and Nils Petersen so far failing to impress, Bayern are believed to be interested in acquiring Peru international Pizarro as back up for Mario Gomez.
The man himself claims to be solely focused on Bundesliga commitments with his existing employers.
“I will only say that I will score two goals against Mainz on Saturday,” Pizarro told Kreiszeitung.
“I have not yet made a decision. Everything is open.”
Pizarro also declined to comment on reports appearing in Bild which claimed he was set to walk out on Bremen after the club presented him with an ultimatum during contract negotiations.
“I generally don’t talk about contract details,” he said.
Pizarro scored 100 goals during 251 appearances in all competitions for Bayern between 2001 and 2007.
He moved to Chelsea in 2007, before joining Bremen a year later, initially on loan.
