According to Sport, Miralem Pjanic could still leave Barcelona soon, despite the transfer window in Italy, England and Spain, where he had tangible options at various stages of the summer, being closed now.
Aware that he has no place in the plans of Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman, the Bosnian midfielder is keen to leave the Camp Nou as soon as possible in order to secure employment somewhere where he would be counted on. To that end, would be willing to go to a league outside the European top five, and his representatives are currently weighing out potential destinations in Turkey and Russia, where there is still time for the clubs to acquire players contracted to other clubs.
Pjanic joined Barcelona from Juventus in 2020, as a part of the agreement which saw Arthur Melo go the other way, and since then, he has worn the shirt of the Catalan club on 30 occasions in all competitions, with no goals or assists to his name. He is yet to play this term, having been left out of the squad for the first two La Liga matches and sat out the third on the bench.
