Miralem Pjanic has admitted that he would love to end Juventus’ unbeaten run when Roma take on the Serie A leaders on Sunday.
Antonio Conte’s men are yet to suffer defeat this term in the Italian top flight, while the capital club are aiming for a Champions League qualification spot.
A Bosnia and Herzegovina international, Pjanic is motivated to excel in the crunch clash and is eyeing three points.
“Roma want to be the first to beat Juventus this season,” the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.
“As a kid I watched Juve because Zinedine Zidane played there and I’ve always liked this team. They’re having a great campaign and are difficult to face, as they are such a compact unit. They are back to the top level.
“Third place is still possible for us, as there are six important games left and the match against Juve is one of the most enjoyable. It feels like a Champions League tie.
“They are fighting for the Scudetto, we are fighting for third, but we want to play a great game and hopefully end their unbeaten record.
“I have learned more from Luis Enrique than from any other coach in my career. I am happy here and am concentrated on doing my best.”
