AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has welcomed reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Bosnian is reportedly one of the first names on PSG’s hit-list as boss Laurent Blanc is desperate to sign a high-profile midfielder in January.
And while Pjanic is currently happy at Roma, he has admitted that a move to Parc des Princes is a realistic possibility.
“I am glad to hear that. Paris, it is the only club where I would go if I was to return to France,” Pjanic confessed to Telefoot.
“I am at Roma, a great club, I feel comfortable here. If I really had to leave, it would be to go to a place that I like.”
It was in French Ligue 1 that the Bosnian made a name for himself, making a total of 132 Ligue 1 appearances for Metz and Lyon, and scoring 13 goals in the process.
He left les Gones to sign for Roma in the summer of 2011 and quickly nailed down a regular starting berth at Stadio Olimpico.
Pjanic is currently regarded as one of the most important players in the side and the Giallorossi recently revealed he was not for sale at any price.
