Plymouth Argyle’s reward for the FA Cup giant-killing of Premier League leaders Liverpool is a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in the fifth round.

Ryan Hardie’s penalty saw the Championship’s bottom club dump Arne Slot’s side out of the competition, while they also reached the fifth round for the first time since 2006-07.

The Pilgrims also beat fellow Premier League side Brentford on their way to the fifth round, and will be hopeful of adding another famous page to the FA Cup’s storied history book.

Holders Manchester United have been handed a home clash against Fulham, with the Red Devils emerging 1-0 victors in their Premier League clash at Craven Cottage last month.

There were a further three confirmed all Premier League ties, with Newcastle United squaring off against Brighton while Bournemouth welcome Wolves to the Vitality Stadium.

Aston Villa, who beat Tottenham at Villa Park on Sunday, will take on Championship side Cardiff City in the first meeting between the two sides since April 2018.

Crystal Palace or Doncaster Rovers, who are in action at Eco-Power Stadium on Monday, will face Millwall, who dumped second-tier leaders Leeds United out of the competition.

The fourth round action concludes on Tuesday, with Premier League high-flyers Nottingham Forest taking on Exeter City, with the winners at home to Ipswich Town in the next round.

Burnley, who beat Southampton 1-0 on Saturday, face Preston North End at Deepdale, with all of those ties played on the weekend of the 1 and 2 of March.
