According to a recent report from The Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with Mauricio Pochettino over a return to the club.
Spurs have been without a permanent manager since the sacking of Jose Mourinho who actually replaced the outgoing Pochettino back in late 2019. The Argentine currently has a year remaining on his PSG contract but both parties are open to the idea of reaching an agreement, in what would be one of the most sensational managerial moves in recent memory.
Pochettino is one of the most exciting managers in world football today in the eyes of many, but for some, he’s seen as slightly overrated – with his tenure at Paris Saint-Germain thus far highlighting some of the issues he has.
Tottenham are in a tricky position right now but if they can bring in someone that could try and persuade Harry Kane to stay, we’re pretty sure they’d take that chance.
