According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Mauricio Pochettino is interested in the vacant managerial position at Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was finally relieved of his duties over the weekend after the club’s 4-1 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road. Ever since then, the rumour mill has been churning out a variety of ideas with regards to who could come in and replace him.
Zinedine Zidane reportedly doesn’t want to take the role and as such, there are other contenders emerging – with Mauricio Pochettino’s name being at the front of the list.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man is the number one pick from the board, Sir Alex Ferguson wants him, and the man himself has now reportedly said that he’s interested in the idea.
Given the fact that the 49-year-old is currently in charge at Paris Saint-Germain, it’d be interesting to see how all parties involved come to a mutual decision on how to make this happen.
