According to The Telegraph, Mauricio Pochettino will urge Manchester United to try and sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur if he becomes the manager at Old Trafford this summer.
Reports in France continue to suggest Pochettino is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, while in England it’s being said that United players want the former Spurs boss to take charge of their team.
Pochettino was in charge at Spurs for five years, and even though he didn’t lead them to any trophies, the period is widely regarded as the most successful in the recent history of the North London club, with Kane one of their main players. In 2019, they reached the Champions League final, which they lost to Liverpool.
Kane pushed hard to leave Spurs last summer with Manchester City being keen on his services, but the move didn’t happen and the England captain now says he’s satisfied with the way Antonio Conte is running things.
