Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has told his Premier League rivals that Luke Shaw is not for sale, according to TalkSport.
The left-back has become one of the hottest prospects in English football after breaking into the Saints’ first team last season, leading him to be linked with a move to any of number of clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, Pochettino is keen to keep hold of the 18 year old, and has insisted that the club are not willing to allow him to move on.
Shaw has stated his desire to remain with the South Coast club, and penned a new five-year deal back in July.
He is one of a number of English players currently excelling in the Southampton first team, who travel to Cardiff City on Boxing Day, and can be backed at 13/10 to pick up what would be their first win in seven matches.
