Germany’s World Cup winner Lukas Podolski could very well be on his way out of Galatasaray during the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old forward has been a subject of intense transfer speculation for a while and is said to be eyed by a couple of Chinese clubs, who are willing to land another high-profile coup for the emerging football league.
However, the German media outlet Bild has learned that Lukas Podolski has received a lucrative offer for Japanese top-division side Vissel Kobe.
The J-League side is prepared to offer a three-year deal to Lukas Podolski and an annual salary of up to €8 million in order to lure the German international.
The Japanese side are also willing to pay €5 million to Turkish giants Galatasaray to buy out Podolski’s transfer.
The experienced forward who has played for Koln, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Inter Milan before his move to Turkey has this season played 10 league games for Galatasaray, scoring three goals in the process.
