Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is considering a ‘lucrative offer’ from Galatasaray, according to the Daily Star.
After falling out of favour at the Emirates Stadium, the Germany international spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan though he underwhelmed with just one goal in eighteen appearances.
Prior to his switch to Italy, the 30 year old turned out eighty-two times for the Gunners, scoring thirty-one times, and was part of the squad that won the FA Cup in May 2014, two months before he lifted the World Cup in Brazil.
In total he has scored forty-eight goals for his country in one hundred and twenty-five appearances and only Miroslav Klose and Lother Matthaus have more German caps.
With the Gunners closing in on a deal for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, they can now be backed at just 9/2 to win their first league title in twelve years.
