The agent of Lukas Podolski insists his client is comfortable at Cologne, but refused to rule out the possibility of a move to AC Milan.
The striker’s representative Kon Schramm had declared his client would not leave his hometown club in January.
But the player has not yet committed his long-term future to Bundesliga outfit Cologne, having declined to discuss a potential contract extension at his hometown club before the end of the season.
“Milan? We don’t comment on these rumours,” Scramm told Goal.com. “There are a bunch of rumours on him, every day there are calls from Italy, from England and even from Russia.”
“The real truth is that Lukas has a contract with Cologne and he is comfortable there. At the moment this is how things are.”
Podolski has scored 14 goals in 16 Bundesliga appearances this season, reportedly prompting interest from Serie A club Milan and English Premier League outfit Arsenal.
The 26-year-old Germany international has a contract that will expire in 2013, and Cologne have pledged to sell him before the start of the 2012/13 campaign should he opt not to extend his stay.
