According to Tuttosport, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has met with Eric Abidal in the United States to discuss a possible move to the Nou Camp. The 25-year-old, who is considered to be one of the best players in the world, is coming off the back of a tremendous World Cup campaign with France which saw him score in the final against Croatia to help guide Les Bleus to their second world title.
Pogba, who formerly played for Juventus, is said to have a tricky relationship with Jose Mourinho which is likely one of the main reasons as to why he’s keeping his options open. The Frenchman does have a long-term contract with United meaning that Barca would likely have to pay an extraordinary amount in order to bring him over to Spain, but when you consider the figures that have been thrown around in the last few years, that shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
