According to a recent report from AS, Paul Pogba could be set to join Real Madrid at a reduced price next summer.
The Manchester United midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford for longer than most of us can remember, and now, it may finally be coming to fruition.
His current contract is set to last at Old Trafford until 2022, but it’s been well documented that Real have been interested in Pogba for a few years now.
United would be willing to accept a fee as low as £53 million (€60 million), which may give you an indication as to how they’ve felt about Pogba’s recent performances with the club.
Pogba has very much struggled to cement his place in the starting XI in recent times and while he may always have a special connection with the club, it doesn’t feel as if that’s going to translate into an extended stay.
