Pogba not renewing Man United contract

According to a recent report from Marca, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will not be renewing his contract at Old Trafford as he continues to try and force through a deal that would see him make the move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. His current deal is set to expire in 2021, although United have the choice to extend that for one year as part of an option that came with negotiating the contract in the first place.

Pogba’s future has been one of the big stories of the summer transfer window up to this point, with many fans not knowing whether he was going to stay or go. At this moment it time it appears as if United are going to have him on the books until at least the January transfer window, purely because it doesn’t seem as if there’s enough time left for a deal to go through.
