Robert Lewandowski will be aiming to guide Poland to success in Russia, but Sadio Mane and Senegal stand in their way in their first World Cup group game.
For Adam Nawałka’s Poland side, The White and Reds will be looking to get off to a flyer in Group H after recently managing to find their own fine run of form. Coming off the back of a 4-0 win over Lithuania last week, Poland are now unbeaten in their last three and Nawalka, along with Poland, will be looking for Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski to carry on his stellar record. After once again topping the Bundesliga scoring charts with 29 goals, the 29-year-old scored a brace against Lithuania last time out and now has four in his last three for the White and Reds.
As for Aliou Cissé’s Senegal side, despite catching the eye during their qualifying campaign, The Lions of Teranga have only managed to pick up one win in their last five and they have also worryingly came up short against the likes of Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Luxembourg. If Senegal are to pull off the victory, they will be looking for Liverpool Forward Saido Mane to lead from the front. While Poland have Lewandowski, Mane has also enjoyed his own impressive campaign and along with leading The Reds to the Champions League final last month, the 26-year-old netted 20 times for Liverpool last year.
