Poldoski closing in on Inter switch

Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is on the verge of completing a loan move to Inter Milan, according to the Metro.

The German intentional has been unsettled at the Emirates in recent months, with a number of clubs linked with a move to secure his services.

However, it is Inter Milan who are leading the race with a six-month deal looking likely to be finalised when the transfer window reopens next week.

The 29 year old has been with the Gunners since signing from FC Koln in the summer of 2012 and has since scored thirty-one goals in eight-one appearances in all competitions.

He has made just a handful of appearances so far this season, with all three of his goals scored in the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger’s side were the only side in the top seven to win yesterday after beating West Ham United – a result which saw them leapfrog the Hammers in to fourth place.
