The Portuguese top clash between FC Porto and Benfica ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday, while Sporting Lisbon crashed to a 2-3 defeat by Braga.

Hassan Yebda put Benfica in the lead after 45 minutes at Porto’s O Dragao stadium but the home side scored back in the 77th minute, when Argentinian Lucho Gonzalez converted a spot kick.

As result of this draw, Porto remain in first place with one point more than Benfica.

All goals at Sporting Lisbon versus Sporting Braga were scored in the second half. Albert Mayong gave the guests a 0-2 lead on 58 minutes, but Derlei equalised 11 minutes later.

However, late goals from Wason Renteria and Marcio Mossoro secured an away victory and Marat Izmailov’s goal for Lisbon in the 90th minute was for nothing more than consolation.
