(GSM) – Both FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon ended their season on a high with away wins at Uniao de Leiria and Leixoes respectively.

Porto were already certain of finishing in third place and an opening goal from Leiria’s Cassio in the 23rd minute did little to bother the 2009 champions.

But the visitors improved in the last half hour, mostly under Colombian influence. Defender Fredy Guarin levelled on the hour, and Radamel Falcao completed the turn-around three minutes later.

Cristian Rodriguez netted for 1-3 in minute 82 and Falcao set the score to 1-4 four minutes later, scoring from the penalty spot.

Fourth-placed Sporting Lisbon, who join Porto in the Europa League, earned a 1-2 win at Leixoes in their final game.

Miguel Veloso (16th) and Pedro Silva (55th) gave Sporting a safe margin before Joao Pinto pulled one back in the 82nd minute.
