Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reports that FC Porto are on the verge of signing Moreirense striker Nabil Ghilas.
The Dragons have yet to put the finishing touches on the deal, but it is now clear the talented attacker will be arriving at Estadio do Dragao in the summer transfer window.
After Moreirense accepted a €3 million offer from Porto, the Dragons have been given permission to speak to the player and they are set to agree a four-year contract.
Ghilas is expected to join the team for a training camp in Netherlands on Monday, with his rival for a place in attack Jackson Martinez also arriving on the same day.
The 23-year-old is expected to provide competition for the Mexican striker and add a new dimension to the team’s attack.
Ghilas has exploded onto the biggest stage last season, scoring 13 goals in 30 Primeira Liga matches for Moreirense, doing enough to earn a lucrative move to FC Porto.
