(GSM) – FC Porto cruised into the final of the 2009/10 Portuguese Cup final on Wednesday, as their 4-0, second-leg win over Rio Ave sealed an impressive 7-1 aggregate victory.
Fernando Belluschi opened the scoring for the home side at the Dragão in the 21st minute, and they were seemingly on cruise control with a 4-1 series advantage.
The Rio Ave defense eventually gave way in the 79th minute when Fredy Guarín scored just moments after coming on as a sub, and Ruben made it 3-0 on the night with four minutes to go.
Radamel Falcao sealed the victory with the fourth in injury time.
Porto will now face upstart second-division side Desportivo Chaves after they ousted Naval in extra time on Tuesday in the other semi-final.
