Portuguese giants FC Porto are showing interest in Sevilla full-back Diogo Figueiras, according to El Desmarque.
The Dragons have seen starting right-back Danilo Luiz da Silva join Real Madrid, while left-back Alex Sandro is also being linked with a big club move.
As a result, they are in the market for defensive reinforcements, and coach Julen Lopetegui appears to be keen on Sevilla’s Diogo Figueiras.
Seeing as he can successfully operate on either flank, the 23-year-old would be a very good addition to the squad at Estadio do Dragao and FC Porto officials have established initial contact with the Europa League champions.
Diogo Figueiras joined Sevilla from Pacos Ferreira two years ago, and while he was unable to nail down a regular starting berth, the full-back has amassed quite a few appearances in the process.
The Portuguese featured in 46 La Liga games, scoring two goals, while making another 20 outings in Europa League.
