Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola is reporting that FC Porto are hot on the trail of Red Star striker Luka Jovic.

The 17-year-old is believed to be one of the hottest prospects to have come out of club’s youth academy in recent years and he already has a long list of suitors among top European sides.

It is believed that Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Ajax and Tottenham are closely monitoring the forward’s performances, but FC Porto appear to be leading the chase at the moment.

Having watched the youngster in action over the last few months, the Dragons are ready to come forward with an official proposal.

According to A Bola, Porto could offer around €5 million for 50% of ownership rights in Luka Jovic.

After scoring on his debut last season, the talented forward continued the rich vein of form, bagging 6 goals in 10 league starts this term and netting four times in last five matches.
