FC Porto are showing interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Erik Lamela, A Bola has learned.

The Dragons have been quite busy in the summer transfer window, but it looks as though the recruitment is not finished just yet.

Coach Julen Lopetegui is eager to sign another attacking midfielder before the transfer window closes and is currently looking at three players.

But, with Oliver Torres and Lucas Lima expected to remain at their respective clubs, the Dragons have made Erik Lamela their number one target.

The Argentine has largely struggled to prove his worth at White Hart Lane and Spurs probably wouldn’t mind seeing him leave this summer.

He is unlikely to come on the cheap though, meaning a season-long loan is a more realistic option.

Erik Lamela, 23, joined Spurs in a €30 million deal from AS Roma two years ago, but he could only manage 2 goals in 43 Premier League outings.
