FC Porto climbed to second place in the Portuguese Liga Sagres thanks to a 2-4 victory at Estrela Amadora on Wednesday.
Lisandro Lopez put Porto in the lead after ten minutes but Vitor Moreno equalised in the 27th. Cristiano Rodriguez then restored the advantage right before the interval.
Vidigal equalised shortly after the hour mark but this would also be Estrela’s last moment of strength as Porto almost immediately scored 2-3 through Hulk. Rodriguez added his second in the 84th minute for a 2-4 final result.
Estrela played the last few minutes without Hugo Carreira after the player picked up a second yellow card.
Porto move into second place at the expense of Leixoes. Only Benfica are ahead; the Lisbon outfit have a two-points advantage.
