Spanish daily newspaper Marca has suggested that FC Porto value defender Danilo Luiz da Silva at €40 million.
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are believed to be leading the chase for the 23-year-old footballer, but few more top clubs are also keen on his services.
Due to the heavy demand, Porto hope to receive no less than €40 million for their prized asset, despite the fact that the full-back’s contract is due to expire in June 2016.
The interested sides will obviously attempt to lower the asking price, but the Dragons chairman Pinto da Costa is known as a tough negotiator and he rarely sells his players below the set asking price.
Danilo has seen his stock rise a great deal since joining Porto from Santos, and he has performed at a very high level in both Primeira Liga and Champions League.
The right-back is currently a first team regular in the national team as well, having started five friendly games for Brazil under Carlos Dunga.
