(GSM) – Porto won their second consecutive match in the Portuguese league while Sporting Lisbon earned their first points of the season in a home match with Maritimo.

Colombian Radamel Falcao inspired Porto in their 3-0 win over Beira-Mar at O Dragao stadium, scoring the opening goal in the 26th minute.

One of the other five South Americans in Porto’s line-up, Argentinian Fernando Belluschi, went on to add another just before the break and Falcao netted his second of the night with nine minutes to go, 3-0.

Sporting Lisbon, who lost their opening game to Paços de Ferreira last week, were most successful against Maritimo although it took until the 89th minute for Chilean Matias Fernandez to break the deadlock, 1-0.
