Porto star hints at Juventus deal; Ibrahimovic to end his career at Milan

Porto star hints at Juventus deal

Porto midfielder Fredy Guarin has revealed that he could be joining Juventus in the January transfer window.

The Colombian has been followed by the Bianconeri for quite some time, but this is the first time he has decided to speak on the matter.

“It will all be decided between now and Thursday,” Guarin told Colombian Radio Catena Nacional.

“Either I continue playing with Porto or I will leave. If I do go, then I will leave only to join Juventus.”

The 25-year-old is considered a key member of the squad at Dragao, but the club chiefs are prepared to cash in on the Columbian as he is looking for a new challenge.

Juventus can only sign one non-EU player in January and their assault on Guarin means that Martin Caceres will not be coming to Turin.

Ibrahimovic to end his career at Milan

The agent of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims that his client wants to end his playing career at San Siro.

The veteran striker managed to kick-start his career at Milan after the unsuccessful spell at Barcelona and it appears that he has no desire to leave the Rossoneri.

“He has no belly-ache about staying with the Rossoneri, as he has always said he’ll end his career at Milan,” Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.

“There is a very strong rapport with the club, directors and teammates. Therefore, all reports of problems are untrue.

“It’s a shame for me, as it means I won’t be able to hold any more negotiations for him!”

Ibrahimovic has been in excellent scoring form this season, having bagged 12 goals in 15 Serie A games.

Ghanaian wonderkid reveals Liverpool offer

Ghana midfielder Mumuni Abubakar says that he is on the verge of signing for Liverpool.

The 18-year-old has just completed a trial at Anfield and he claims Kenny Dalglish was impressed by his qualities.

“They were impressed by my performances during training and the match that I played”, Abubakar told Joy Sports.

“The technical team like my style of play, so hopefully they will sign me.”

The youngster reveals his agent is in talks with Liverpool chiefs over a move to Anfield.

“When you go for trials they talk to your agent and not to you as the player.

“Liverpool are talking to my agent now. They are impressed with my performances so we should get a favourable response.”

The New Edubiase United captain was spotted by Liverpool scouts last year while on tour with Ghana Under-20 squad in Italy.
