Italian media outlet Tuttosport has learned that Juventus are keeping close tabs on FC Porto midfielder Ruben Neves.
Despite the heavy summer recruitment, the 18-year-old has played an important role for the Dragons this season, making 17 league appearances and featuring in 7 Champions League fixtures.
His impressive displays clearly did not go unnoticed as Juventus are believed to be interested in the youngster’s services.
The Bianconeri plan to add some fresh blood to the centre of the park and they see Neves as a potential long-term replacement for Andrea Pirlo.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are also looking at Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, who is currently Neves’ teammate at Estadio do Dragao having joined on a season-long loan in the summer.
The Bianconeri have been handed a favourable draw in the Champions League quarter-finals and they are 4/11 favourites to make it to the last four of Europe’s elite competition.
