Porto stars in high demand

Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that top European clubs are vying for Porto stars Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Jackson Martinez.

The trio has been earning rave reviews for their scintillating displays this season, with some of Europe’s top clubs lining up for their services.

According to A Bola, clubs from England, Germany, France and Russia all had scouts watching the three players in the Monday’s 3-1 win over Sporting Braga.

James Rodriguez was the only one of the players to get on the scoresheet, but his teammates also had a good game.

Porto are essentially a selling club and the club chiefs are always ready to negotiate a sale if the price is right.

Having said that, at least one of the three star players is expected to leave in the summer transfer window, with Jose Moutinho likely to be the first one through the door.
