Primeira Liga outfit FC Porto are stepping up their efforts to sign Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi from Feyenoord, according to O Jogo.
With Eliaquim Mangala widely tipped to leave, the Dragons have started the search for a new central defender.
And they seem to have made Feyenoord’s Bruno Martins Indi their number one target, with O Jogo revealing the two clubs have already established initial contacts.
The 22-year-old, who can also play at left-back, has two years left on his contract at De Kuip, meaning this is the right time to earn maximum profit on his sale.
While helping Feyenoord clinch Champions League qualification, the talented defender has also managed to make an impact at international stage.
After scoring 2 goals in 8 World Cup qualifiers, Martins Indi started both games at the tournament finals, with Netherlands enjoying 5-1 and 3-2 victories over Spain and Australia respectively to qualify for the next stage.
